Umberto Centofante

Umberto's art career had its public start in 1932 at the age of eight when King Emmaniel III of Italy bestowed upon him a $10,000 recognition award as first prize winner for his set of pastel drawings depicting life on his parent's farm.

What was true of Umberto's enthusiasm of art in 1932 at the age of eight is still true of him today. Umberto continues to expresses imagination and creativity through painting, carving, and woodworking.

Painting is his passion.  " I intend to paint until I die, and if I have it my way, I'll die with a brush in my hand."
